We’re big fans of blogs. Not only because we’ve got this blog, but because by reading other blogs and leaving comments we’ve become part of this amazing blogger world which allows us to connect with endless amounts of people from around the world.
We’ve got about 25 blogs on our blog roll that we visit on a daily basis and have noticed over the last year ‘Street Style’ or ‘What I Wore’ blogs are becoming all the rage.
These types of blogs feature photos of bloggers showcasing the outfit that they’re wearing that day along with a breakdown of why they chose those particular outfits, where they bought them and how much they cost. Justyna Baraniecki’s blog ChiChiChic! which we featured in a previous post is a perfect example.
On the other hand, The Sartorialist epitomizes the Street Style blog in which the blogger snaps street fashion photos.
These types of blogs are not only popular in North America but have also garnered a huge following in Poland. They’re so popular that a blog was set up just to keep a track of all the fashion blogs (blogi szafiarskie) out there.
Polskie Szafy lists over 200 Polish blogs that pertain to personal style. It’s a fantasic source to get a glimpse into what people are wearing on the other side of the Atlantic and at the same time perhaps pick up a few style hints and tips.
