A while ago we spotlighted the “The Girl with the Golden Voice,” Polish-Canadian singer-songwriter Basia Bulat.
With the new album, Heart of My Own, under her belt Basia hit the road and played in such exotic (in an urban sort of way) places as Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Berlin, Hamburg, Stockholm and two of our favourite Polish cities – Warsaw and Krakow.
Through it all Basia had to battle the dreaded Eyjafjallajökull (not in a million years will we know how to pronounce that) volcano to do it.
On June 4th she is returning home to Toronto to play a show at the Phoenix.
YouNxt has teamed up with Basia to give you a chance to win a pair of tickets.
To enter the draw simply email us at email@example.com with an answer to the following question:
What was the name of Basia’s first full-length album?
(Hint – you can get the answer from here)
Deadline for entry is May 31, 2010. We’ll randomly pick the winner on June 1st.
You can also purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.
The details of the concert are as follows:
